Tahiti April 2013

Another hot boating holiday in Tahiti for my 7 guests in April 2013 was once again a wonderful trip.

We chartered the 50 foot Catana Catamaran from Dream Yachts in Raiatea base, so that we could cruise the island of Taaha and Bora Bora over our 9 nights aboard and 10 day charter.

Amazon our Cat was very well appointed and had all we needed aboard even a water maker and AC. As this was the first time for me to charter a big Cat i was blown away by the living, entertaining space and layout.

We had a little rain at night, not a lot of wind but going to a new anchorage for Lunch and a swim/snorkel and then on to another one for the evening and more swimming is always wonderful.

These three islands are just perfect for a 10 day cruise. As I get papers for our meat and food that I take with us, cooking on board each night is a real pleasure.

My next planned trip will be April 2014, I am Captain and Chef I like to have three couples and me and it works out at $3,700 NZ each $3000 US dollars as I have to pay for the boat in US. Most of the food is included in that fee, the boat the insurance and the end clean. We top up at the end about $100 for the fuel and transfers to and from the local airport.

You get yourselves to Raiatea by Noon on the day we sail and we return the yacht 9am, and have a free day room at the local on the water hotel if we eat lunch there.

However planning has not started yet, so just let me know if your interested and any questions.
